These politicians, who work for fossil fuel companies, are passing laws taxing solar power in order to make it less affordable.
By preventing solar power from becoming more affordable these politicians are also hurting local job growth and the U.S. economy. Millions of people could earn good money installing and maintaining solar panels in their home towns.
Decentralizing our power grid also helps protect our national security. Power plants are our nation’s most vulnerable critical infrastructure. If everyone produced their own power, attacks to our power grids would not be so devastating.
